The Textile Museum of Sweden and the City of Borås are hosting the 2017 European Textile Network Conference. The conference, and a large number of activities within and in the area around Borås, have been organised to present global perspectives on different textile practices with a special focus on sustainable creativity and innovation within textile art and design.
Attend the Conference, discover exhibitions, lectures, workshops, and tours within and outside Borås. This arrangement takes place in collaboration between the Textile Museum of Sweden, European Textile Network, Nordic Textile Art.

September 12-15, 2017: Pre-conference activities (exhibitions, workshops, textile tours).
September 16-17, 2017: European Textile Network Conference XVIII; main exhibition openings; ETN General Assembly.
September 18-19, 2017: Post-conference activities (exhibitions, workshops, textile tours).
EUROPEAN TEXTILE NETWORK CONFERENCE
The European Textile Network Conference is held in a European country once every two years. This year, the Municipality of Borås and the Textile Museum of Sweden are the hosts. The Textile Museum of Sweden has invited internationally renowned fashion and design trendsetter Lidewij Edelkoort to be the main speaker at the conference, and her lecture will be open to the public (see the conference programme; the entrance fee applies).
